• Competition is referred to J&M Jimmy’s flavoured biltong, buy any of the J&M Jimmy’s sauce flavoured biltong range and stand a chance to win your share of R50 000 in J&M and Jimmy’s sauce hampers
• Entry for the competition only on www.joubertandmonty.co.za.
• Follow the steps on entering the competition, make sure that you keep your purchase till slip for entry.
• A person entering the competition will need to state where they bought the J&M Jimmy’s flavoured product from.
• 25 winners will be randomly selected to win R2000 J&M and Jimmy’s hampers.
• Competition is valid for all participating stores from 13th September 2021 – 31 December 2021.
• No late entries will be accepted.
• J&M Famous Biltong has all the rights to the competition.
• In order to be eligible for participation in this Competition, an entrant must be: 18 (eighteen) years of age or older or, if younger than 18 (eighteen) years, be assisted to the extent necessary by a parent/legal guardian;

• Regrettably, only South African residents are eligible for the prize.
• Unless the prize is a cash prize, no cash alternative is available to a prize unless expressly stated otherwise.
• R2000 hamper refers to R1000 J&M Famous Biltong Products and R1000 Jimmy’s Sauce products.
• The closing date for this competition is 31 December 2021. Winner will be drawn on 7th January 2022.
• The winner selection is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• J&M Famous Biltong reserve the right to cancel any competition without notice at any time.
• Prizes are non-transferable in whole or in part, must be taken as stated and may not be sold to a third party.
• Entrants acknowledge that in consideration of the prize offered to winners by us the winning entries may be released, performed or displayed to the public by us or any company connected with the promotion.
• Competition is valid only for Participating Retailers, Nationally in South Africa. Buy any of the Jimmy’s flavoured range Prepacked packets and stand a chance to win your share of prizes.
• Any personal information (including, without limitation, your name, age, address, postal code, telephone number and/or e-mail address) that you submit on the entry form will be used solely in connection with this competition and will not be disclosed to any third party except for the purposes of the competition. All collected information during the competition time period will be deleted 2 weeks after the competition closes and the winners have been announced.
• It is your responsibility to provide accurate and truthful information on the entry form. If you are selected as the winner but, despite reasonable efforts, J&M Famous Biltong is unable to contact you based on the information that you provided on the entry form, within 7 (seven) days from the day the winners are drawn, the J&M Famous Biltong reserves the right not to award the prize to you and a new random winner will be drawn.
• Proof of identity will be required to collect a prize and we reserve the right to refuse payment or handing over of a prize to any potential winner who refuses to or cannot provide sufficient documentation to verify their identity.
• We may require you to provide us with additional information as we may reasonably require in order to process and to facilitate your acceptance and/or use of the prize.
• Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Geotina t/a J&M Famous Biltong , No direct marketing may be conducted electronically unless the data subject has consented thereto. The rules of personal information collection apply– any person whose information is sought is offered the opportunity to consent thereto. If the data subject feels that his/her rights in terms of the POPI Act have been infringed upon, he/she may approach the IR, who facilitates the implementation of the POPI act. Any personal information J&M Famous Biltong collect is adequately protected from data breaches and theft. In administering a Competition, the Promoter may collect personal information from Participants.
• The Promoter: will not collect more of Participants personal information than it needs for the purpose of administering this Competition and carrying out publicity as stated in the competition rules. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter. The promoter Will only use Participant personal information for the purpose of the competition/Promotion which may include transferring your personal information to its associates and service providers. Selected partners of the Promoter may require Participants to provide personal information in connection with claiming/redeeming prizes and Participants must satisfy themselves with the privacy policies of such partners, as the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for them. By entering this Competition, all participants and winner/s agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel any Competition and any prize (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deem necessary. The Promoter will conduct a random draw from all the entries received to determine a possible winner. In order for the particular entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible winner and conduct a Competition verification process.
• Regulation 11(6)(o) of CPA makes provision for the retention of a prize winner’s full name and ID number for a period of three (3) years. Full names and ID numbers of the prize winners for three (3) years, together with all other information listed in Regulation 11. All personal information collected must be stored and secured in accordance with the rules of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
• Entries which are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid. If the Promoters are unable to reach any Participant or complete the verification process after drawing an entry, such Participant will be disqualified, and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place in the same manner as the first draw. The Promoter may require the winners to be identified, photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prizes and/or after having received their Prizes. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.
• By participating in the Competition, all participants agree to abide by, consent to and be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions made by the Promoter and its prize sponsors for the Competition.
