  • Is J&M Famous Biltong Halaal?

Yes, our biltong is Halaal approved by the Islamic Council of South Africa. Our ICSA number is 2231. Unfortunately, we are not Kosher, as our raw materials are from the hind quarter of the beef.

  • DO YOU DELIVER?

Yes, we do. Our online store is up and running. Place your order and we will courier it to your door in 5 to 7 working days.

  • WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY CHARGES? 

Delivery charges are based on location and are calculated at checkout on our online store. Order more than R600 of product and the delivery charge is on us.

  • HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

If we have your products in stock, the standard times are as follows:
Cape Town 2-4 working days,
JHB, Durban, Bloemfontein 3-5 working days.
Outlying areas 5-7 working days.

  • DO YOU HAVE FREE DELIVERY?

Yes, we do. Free delivery applies to orders of R600 or more.

  • DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY? 

Current legislation makes it exceedingly difficult to ship meat products out of the country, so South Africa it is for now. If you are desperate for a biltong fix and are not in SA, drop us an email, we have some great contact worldwide and will be able to connect you.

  • HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ORDER HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY PLACED OR NOT? 

When your order has been successfully received by our system, you’ll be directed to a confirmation page. A confirmation e-mail will also be sent to the e-mail address you specified when you registered, providing the details of your order.

  • CAN I ORDER BY PHONE OR EMAIL? 

Should you have trouble placing your order online, please contact us via email at online@joubertandmonty.co.za and we will assist you.

  • WILL YOU HAVE STOCK OF THE ITEMS THAT I HAVE ORDERED? 

We do our best to make sure that we have stock on hand of everything offered in our online shop. We update the website daily and monitor stock of products closely. However, despite our best efforts, sometimes there might be a longer period for delivery than shown. If this is the case, we will contact you directly.

  • CAN I PAY USING A DINERS’ CLUB OR AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD?

Unfortunately, we do not accept Diners Club or American Express cards online.

  • WHERE CAN I FIND THE INGREDIENTS OF THE PRODUCTS?

Please look at the detail of the online product. Each product has all a list of ingredients, nutritional values and storage instructions.

  • WILL I BE NOTIFIED OF SPECIALS RUNNING ON YOUR WEBSITE?

We will keep our customers up to date on all specials and deals via email. Should you with to receive promotional information, please subscribe to our mailing list HERE.

  • DO YOU SELL BILTONG HAMPERS?

We are working on it and will have hampers online as soon as they are ready. In the meantime, visit your closest J&M store where you can buy our “build-your-own” hampers.   • WHAT PACKAGING OPTIONS DO YOU PROVIDE?

Most of our biltong is vacuum packed or gas flushed according to J&M Famous Biltong Factory’s strict quality specifications.

  • DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS AND VOUCHERS?

We do not , but watch this space, we are working on it.
